You will be part of Global Sourcing team. will make an impact on over all buying activity in a multicultural environment
In this role you\'ll make an impact by:
1) Supplier Management
Supply Management: Ensure Raw and packing materials are delivered into the plant for production. Coordinate with Quality and production for supply issues and work with vendor in order get CAPA in case of specific complaints. Optimum Inventory maintenance.
Vendor Audits: conduct/coordinate periodical vendor audit in order in order supplier to be in line with Novozymes standards and assure the quality of the materials we get from them.
2) Strategical Support/Management
Market Intelligence: Conduct a periodical survey of the raw and packing material prices with market inputs to have competitive and efficient buying.
3) Business Continuity Plan/Risk Management:
Ensure proper handling complaint to secure suppliers to support production
Complete ownership of the category handled
Quarterly supplier performance based on a) Quality b) Timely supplies C) Pricing d) Service

4) Stake Holder Management:
Have periodical meeting, make MOM, follow-up on action items and ensure that the cycle is completed.
5) Cost Savings:
Ensure a continuous improvement on the cost of the raw and packing material bought based on the following with having targets set with Category Managers:
a) Negotiation with existing supplier b) New vendor development c) market inputs d) Quantity discount e) Payment term negotiation f) VMI (savings on inventory carrying) g) JIT goods

Potentially relevant experience:
10 years of experience in sourcing of Raw and Packaging Materials (Agriculture, Chemicals, Vitamins etc) in manufacturing industry.

Location:
This job will be located at Bangalore (Hybrid Model)
