Job Description


The Ops Sup Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Lead Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical authority for an area within the business providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business as well as provide operational assistance
  • Perform analysis to define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline operational processes and expand Operations capabilities for new products and services
  • Communicate regularly with all Operations teams and departments
  • Maintain knowledge of Citi's operational procedures, best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements in order to provide customized business solution recommendations to internal clients
  • Analyze existing operational processes and apply creativity to complex situations, as needed
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and platform rollouts
  • Lead projects across multiple Operations areas, serving as an analytical and/or procedural expert and coach lower level team members on operational processes
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 14 - 15 years of experience
  • Experience in developing risk management programs, identifying all significant processes, risks, and assessing key controls and monitoring associated with these significant processes
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. The Entitlements Team Unit Head, is a Senior Manager level position, reporting into Asia Head of Entitlements for Legacy Franchise, responsible for; Leading an operational team who is managing entitlements of divested staff for Citi's APAC exit Countries, whilst managing country stakeholders at senior level.

Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for the operational performance of the Entitlements Review and Validation Utilities unit
  • Motivate and effectively performance manage 12-15 officers,
  • Develop operational talent pool, optimize skills of existing team, attract best talent, ensure succession planning is in place for key roles
  • Setting and reviewing quality performance standards
  • Ensure quality and compliance measures, and professional and high level of customer experience at all times
  • Provide business continuity at all times, own framework and implementation
  • Ensure proper audit trails are maintained and define an effective Controls process.
  • Execute a well-defined communications and engagement model with markets and internal teams to ensure full understanding of business needs and market specifics
  • Maintain and develop client review meetings, actively participate in key workstreams affecting operational unit
  • Own end-to-end support to country management team regarding new user entitlements
  • Continuous identification and implementation of operational best practice
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
  • Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
  • Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Job Qualifications:
  • At least 8+ years of experience in Operations process & Program Management, and 5yrs+ people management experience
  • Experienced in setting up and managing operations units/outsourced centers/multi skilled service centers
  • Ability to multi task and hands on approach
  • Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills art senior level
  • Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders, maintain strong client relationship
  • Ability to translate business strategy into day to day delivery
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Analytical focus, lean/business process reengineering experience
