Department Overview Wells Fargo Middle Market Banking (MMB) delivers a comprehensive suite of products and industry expertise to serve the diverse financial needs of companies with annual sales typically ranging from $5 million to $2 billion. As a leader in serving commercial customers, Wells Fargo offers financial services including credit and treasury management solutions as well as specialized expertise across industries including Technology, Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, Investor Real Estate and Government. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of business relationship support analysts Manage the relationship support function for an assigned team or office Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development, audits, working with business management to resolve issues, and address deficiencies Complete all required assessments, exercises, training, and affirmations in accordance with Bank Policies and Audit requirements, including Business Continuity Planning Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Handle complex issues that may include escalation and resolution Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and process requirements Develop expertise in the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Responsible for team member engagement and career development. Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss about issues, concerns, and updates pertaining to People, Process and Partners. Establish early warning mechanism through robust risk and opportunities process. Challenge identifying gaps, recommending gap closing. Make sure team is always ready to meet the audit requirement and actively work to increase risk awareness across all TMs Responsible for team member engagement and career development. Conduct periodic business reviews with key functional stakeholders regarding overall business performance. Look beyond SLA metrics and focus on business metrics. Required experience: 10 - 12 years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Experience in Commercial loan servicing or commercial lending operations Customer support focus with the ability to understand servicing needs and recommend solutions Customer service experience Ability to provide strong customer service support and develop internal relationships with front line teams Ability to participate in moderately complex customer transactions Knowledge and understanding of business banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention Required Qualifications and skills: At least a B. Com or an equivalent degree preferably MBA / M.Com Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills Knowledge and understanding of business banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention Sound analytical thinking / high attention to detail with focus on research across various platforms Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and juggle a variety of tasks (time management skills are important) Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
