As a Cybersecurity Engineer in Hitachi Energy, we are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team of R&D Engineers. A person interested in the field of Penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, security risk management, identification and mitigation, SQL injection, cryptography Encryption Standards and Products and contribute towards global R&D projects.
How you'll make an impact:
You will help with implementation of cybersecurity tools, running them and analyzing the results and ensure compliance of the solution as per internal cybersecurity standards for base solutions.
You will be a part of the development of the FACTS Cybersecurity team and will focus on continually improving FACTS cybersecurity solutions.
You will support many projects in parallel and with the support of the R&D cybersecurity team, help the
projects to streamline the cybersecurity solutions.
To design & develop a secure network architecture for DCS / SCADA / HMI system with advanced cyber
security features.
To Implement the security features provided by device and system vendors and intrusion detection systems in the DCS / SCADA / HMI network.
To evaluate and strengthen the security of any connections to the DCS / SCADA / HMI network and establish strong controls over any medium that is used as a backdoor into this network.
To Monitor and validate third party security patches to ensure that the reliability of the system is maintained and perform technical audits of DCS / SCADA / HMI devices and networks, and any other connected
networks, to identify security concerns.
To Support in Business in achieving IEC 62443 4-1 Certification and in IEC 62443 3-3 certification and maintaining and improving Cybersecurity solutions.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Required bachelor's/master's degree in ECE / CSE/ IT/ E&I or equivalent.
Candidates should have 5 or more years of working experience from the IT-OT or information security
field, preferably from the manufacturing/oil & gas/power industry sector.
Strong Knowledge of Industrial control systems, SCADA Systems, Communication Gateways, Network
architecture, System administration, Infrastructure (servers, workstation, switches, routers, firewalls)
configuration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Experience in the domain of security in industries and systems according to the standards IEC 62443
cyber security standard, guidelines, and best practices for building highly resilient hardened software
systems (e.g., NIST, CIS, and OWASP).
Experience with industrial data transfer protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus, DNP3, IEC101/104, IEC
61850 and OPC UA and similar is an advantage.
Experience in implementation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of firewalls,
switches and other network devices.
High commitment and willingness to perform.
Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team.
