WHAT YOU'LL DO


Join us as we embark on a journey to transform BCG’s Finance organization! “Future Finance” is a multi-year journey to prepare the Finance function for the BCG of the future: a BCG that continues to grow, and one that has become more sophisticated, more diverse and more interdependent. By rethinking structures, harmonizing processes, and automating key tasks with new technologies, we will deliver a simpler and more efficient operating model encouraging collaboration and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of BCG.

In this role as a Business Process Sr. Analyst, you will be a key member of the finance systems transformation delivery team, known internally as Project MasterChef. Your primary responsibility is to support the Business Process Workstream Lead to define, develop, and implement globally standardized and streamline processes, with a focus on Accounts Payable but opportunity and expectation to work across functional workstreams as needed. You will understand and translate business needs, working closely with system integration (SI) partners in the design and implementation of R2R processes in the target system (SAP S/4 Hana public cloud). Key Areas of Focus Under the direction of the workstream lead:
  • Interpret and translate business demands / user stories into implementable functional requirements
  • Set up and facilitate any workshops / meetings to ensure needs are captured
  • Formalize functional requirements from business needs, model processes and capture in design deliverables
  • Prepare functional design documentation for processes and data objects, and ensure these requirements are understood by technical architects and development leads
  • Support the testing of new process in target system
  • Prepare Quality Assurance reviews of test results to ensure business needs are met
  • Contribute to the change management activities
  • Conduct user trainings with global stakeholders to demonstrate processes in target system
  • Perform analysis as needed, including data review

  • Influencing as change agent – open to communicate and coordinate with delivery teams and global cross-functional stakeholders to encourage understanding and adoption of new ways of working

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


Key technical skills, functional skills and qualifications that are required to be successful in the role. For example, “subject matter expertise”, “five years’ experience preferred”, “business related degree” etc. It’s about knowledge and experience. Make clear what is a must have vs. a preferred skill. No more than three short paragraphs or five descriptive bullets.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP (or IFRS) accounting
  • Language and global skills: High fluency English, global experience preferred
  • Experience in SAP preferred, ideally within an S/4 Hana public cloud environment
  • Jira knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working in system enhancement or delivery programs preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (heavy usage of Powerpoint)

YOU'LL WORK WITH


Project MasterChef includes a broad range of IT and Finance team members dedicated to the initiative including our Systems integrator and Vendor partners. You will also collaborate with colleagues across our Local, Global and Regional Finance teams, as well as other global functions and cross functional teams (e.g. Global Accounting, BI&A, HR, Staffing etc.)
