If you\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you\xe2\x80\x99re in the right place.About you and this roleThe Business Process Expert / Manager role assists in defining work process, system solutions associated within the Enterprise Data & Analytics Data Process Management\xe2\x80\x99s (DPM) data management, data quality and governance processes along with provides local leadership to small team. They will partner within DPM along with functional IT teams and key business stakeholders, playing a key role throughout a project and operational support to provide future improvements and functionality within the ED&A\xe2\x80\x99s business process area. The role will focus on Customer and Vendor data domains.This role is expected to work with the business process team and other functional SMEs to define business needs and provide consulting support for future improvements and functionality with a business process area. The role will play a key role throughout the project, including requirements, designs, testing, implementation, training, and end-user support, will works independently, receives minimal guidance, and will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. In this role, you will require in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of your discipline or functional area. You will need to understand your discipline\'s best practices and how they relate to others. You may need to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements as well as serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues. You should also be able to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus with others. It is your responsibility to analyze and resolve complex problems, examine information from multiple sources, and use judgement to evaluate established and new solutions. Your performance impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related teams and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.Responsibilities

  • Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas, works closely with business process teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders to design the process/data model which meet requirements.
  • Documents detailed functional designs and builds, tests, and implements application objects.
  • Assists with issue resolution and support SAP BP incidents/request.
  • Helps ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.
  • Lead local team of IT professionals to deliver goals and sets priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and plans of execution
  • A key part of this role is People Leadership, with a set of 8-12 direct reports who will align to other leaders functionally. It will be the responsibility of the person in this role to assist in goal setting, provide coaching, collect feedback, author performance reviews, engage in pay planning activities, facilitate employee development conversations, etc, as a full people leader within the ED&A organization.
  • The role will also be contributing to India site activities and will help with the advancement of our India I/S strategy overall.
  • The role will also be leading local team of IT professionals and collaborate with global teams to deliver goals and sets priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and plans of execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
  • People leadership experience is a huge plus
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. SAP Master Data knowledge is a MUST.
  • Solves complex problems, works independently, receives minimal guidance and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Interpersonal effectiveness, understanding customer needs, teamwork, taking initiative, problem solving skills, technical proficiency in use of computer applications and analytical skills and Dow policies and procedures
Preferred Skills
  • SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) is a plus.
  • SAP OTC module is a plus.
  • SAP STP module is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Design thinking is a plus
  • Experience leading a team
