Job Description
JD: Supply Chain Support
Primary Responsibilities:
SCM Support team partners with buyers to ensure all supplier commits are documented in the system, issues are updated and communicated
- Update of supplier commits into ERP / Materials tracker / Hotlist for Production meetings and Business Unit (BU) Material Requirement meetings
- Identify and escalate Critical shortages, provide history and reasons, and provide current up to date status
- Involve and assist AUS Buyers regarding prioritization of Purchase Orders (POs) and cross Org Inventory availability
- Requests to expedite Material receipts
- Follow up on shipment to ensure ‘Actual = commit’
- Escalate first to buyers where PD not meeting NBD.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or Diploma
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related functional areas
Manufacturing / Factory exposure is an added advantage
Mandatory Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of BOMs
Effective communication skills both written and verbal to communicate to diverse functional groups and stakeholders on the project/material status.
Ability to work positively in a team environment with wide range of individuals involved in manufacturing under pressure and efficiently manage priorities to meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of views.
Good knowledge material management business processes
Shift:
Work during Second Shift and support North America buyer team
