Job Title: C&IN, COO/PMO Support role

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

In taking this role, you would be part of the high profile, strategic Cirrus initiative, which is responsible for accelerating the adoption of public cloud services by establishing a strategic cloud transformation and innovation partnership with Google. Public cloud adoption is expected to enable DB to capture the stability, cost, flexibility, talent retention, innovation and functionality advantages public cloud presents. Your role would be as part of the Cirrus Programme Management Office, providing governance, delivery, resource management & strategic analysis support across a ~EUR120m portfolio globally. You will report into the Cirrus COO.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Business case management: ensure the business case is updated in line with revised GCP consumption based on agreed application designs and migration effort; building a live business case and financials model to assess impact as our application migration approach/plan evolves
  • You will support budget (cost & FTE) planning, monthly forecasting, actual vs forecast analysis, vendor invoice tracking, processing of non-labour transactions and software capitalisation
  • You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining high quality end to end Headcount & management reporting and analytical services across all aspects of the Cirrus portfolio, leveraging existing reporting and toolsets where available or generating your own where required
  • Proactively identify, reconcile and escalate expense vs budget issues, tracking issues to resolution
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement wherever possible, leveraging best practice & process excellence ways of working
  • Develop & maintain collaborative working relationships with partner teams including Finance, COO, PMO & Programme / Delivery Managers, providing timely responses to ad-hoc queries when required
Your Skills & Experience:
  • Strong financial planning and control and financial management experience, with recent experience of portfolio budget management and monthly financial forecasting and reporting
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Clarity
  • Strong written & oral communication skills, able to work with global stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrable collaborative working as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment, capable of handling different important tasks simultaneously, with ability to challenge & prioritise
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects, and experience in using Clarity would be advantageous, preferably with experience working in a COO or Business Management type function
  • Preferably MBA from reputed institution, with 4-8+ years of work experience
  • Relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
