We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Experience in MicroStrategy Upgrades: Intelligence Server, Web Servers on Windows/Linux Platforms , Security aspects like ACL, Security Roles, Security Filters . Understanding of connectivity to various data sources like Teradata, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Cloudera, etc.

Teradata Database Administrator- (DBA) job duties:

• Formulate and execute data administration security policies and models to ensure the integrity of organizational data.
• Perform backup and recovery of Teradata Database for data availability using Teradata Data Stream Architecture.

\xc2\xb7 Administration of Protegrity groups for masking secured data.

• Experience in Teradata SQL optimization, data collection and data trend analysis.

• Involved in implementing new projects(applications) on pre-production environment. This implementation needs database, user, views and macros creation.
• Proficient in writing scripts in Unix, stored procedures, macros in order to automate and simplify day to day activities.
• Administration of the Teradata database servers to identify the bottlenecks and workload balancing of the system.
• Supervising and educating team members in resolving reported issues and conducting cross-skill training sessions.

• Assisted Development team in the design and implementation of complex database solutions.
• Reviewing the SQL codes (DDL/DML) in Prod and Non-Prod environments and deploying them by following SDLC workflow.
• Responsible for patch upgrades, responding to system alerts, creating appropriate indexes for effective data distribution across AMPs and to improve ETL batch performance.
• Addressed and resolved system issues by notifying and directing applications users with workarounds.
• Performing password resets on Teradata Nodes according to standard protocols and storing the same in CyberArk.
• Forecast Space consumptions to avoid failures and delays in ETL runs.
• Working extensively on Data movement across different Teradata Servers to support development activities and testing.

Business Intelligence Administrator job duties:

• Created and maintained data visualizations report that educated, informed, and engaged business partners on key metrics and performance measures.
• Governing MicroStrategy user and server security through security roles and security filters.
• Management of MicroStrategy project configuration and their database connections settings.
• Prepare documentation on standards and best practices pertaining to administration, deployment and support of MicroStrategy.
• Migrating MicroStrategy objects such as events, schedules, and projects from development to test and then to production environment using MicroStrategy Object manager.
• Upgrading MicroStrategy environment to address vulnerabilities and implementing new features.
• Uploading the files into MicroStrategy Intelligence server through Linux machine to support the usage of visualizations in existing reports & dashboards.
• Managing the Tableau users and group permissions at site level contents (Projects, workbooks, views, data sources).
• Administration of Tableau infrastructure including server installations, security fixes, monitoring system usage.
• Archiving and restoring Tableau server repository using tsm commands.
• Experience in connecting to various data sources: Teradata, MS SQL Server, Oracle.
• Experience in maintaining and scheduling of Tableau Data Extracts using Tableau Server.
• Configuring Tableau server for low disk space alerts and other project specific configurations.

Responsible for troubleshooting Tableau related support tickets for operational issues.
