Job Description


The Business Intelligence Manager is a member of the D&A Business Insights team that will focus on building advanced analytical capabilities including dashboarding, predictive modeling, data science and data stewardship. This team will be forward-looking in identifying analytics trends, emerging tools & practices to ensure we have the skills and capabilities we need to support the D&A division now and in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Visualization. Develop insightful and actionable visualizations from large and complex data sets. Consolidate multiple data sets into one visualization that tells a compelling story.
  • Data Sourcing. Prepare and integrate various data sets from different systems into strategic storage locations for visualization purposes. Validate and ensure accuracy of data.
  • Governance. Facilitate processes and activities promoting consistent and relevant use of visualization standards that will enable better clarity and user adoption across dashboards and other visualization output. Create robust and reusable data querying, transformation, and visualization methods for efficiency.
  • Project and Stakeholder Management. Organize, define, and run projects as needed. Manage stakeholder engagement at all levels to capture requirements and use cases, mitigate or resolve issues, and deliver in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI & Tableau.
  • Experience of using Salesforce CRM tool and Snowflake
  • Good translation of end user needs into clear business and technical requirements.
  • Confidence in communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in other tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python) is a bonus
  • Experience in writing simple to complex database queries and stored procedures and loading data into a variety of database systems (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
  • Good understanding of data and database technologies (data analysis, data prep, ELT etc.)
  • Good organization skills with attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
  • Curiosity about the details of data sets. Ability to track down complex data quality and data integration issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems.
  • Positive attitude to learning new skills and technologies.
