JR40225 Business Intelligence Engineer As a CBO Business Intelligence Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. (Micron) you are responsible for increasing the value of Micron\'s information assets. You will concentrate on querying, transforming, and analyzing company-wide data to make it usable for business decisions. You will utilize business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and PowerBI to create impactful visual reports, contributing to our business\'s data-driven approach. You will apply data governance, security protocols, and serve as a department champion for best practices effectively managing Micron\'s information assets. You will work with cross functional teams to create analytic capabilities, providing decision makers with actionable business intelligence. You will partner closely with BU functional teams to understand business processes, learn the data, and craft solutions to solve problems. This position requires cross functional coordination, outstanding communication skills, creative problem solving and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude to manage a variety of responsibilities and deliverables. In this role, you can utilize your passion for technology and business process excellence to directly affect Micron\'s business success. Responsibilities: Utilize BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI to develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions. Perform data exploration, data cleaning, and data preparation activities. Analyze complex datasets, draw insights, and present results in a clear and concise manner to the team and stakeholders. Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of databases, data systems, data processes, and data streams. Collaborate with different teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments (Especially as it relates to MBT/IBP initiatives) Once Cloud based foundation is built - partnering with SMAI to drive true AI/ML solutions into business planning tools & decision making. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL etc.), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). Particularly the Microsoft legacy stack of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and SharePoint and the Power Platform. Proficient in using BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to approach problems flexibly and creatively. Excellent communication, presentation skills, fluent in telling stories with data, and effective visualization design. Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Experience in data visualization and creating dashboards. Basic understanding of statistical analysis. About Micron Technology, Inc.
