Purpose of the job: Responsible for supporting Category Management Team on Nielsen (NielsenIQ, Homescan and Omnishopper) data analysis and insights on a regular basis. Also, work on projects related to market and Business Insights leveraging I-health database subscriptions to deliver high quality actionable insights. Support commercial teams with data and insights to help decision-making. Gather, analyze, and interpret marketplace trends and market data to support marketing and innovation teams. Job Context The Data Science and Analytics team is part of the i-Health business. The vision of i-Health is to become the worldwide leader in health and wellness categories including Microbiome and Women\'s Health addressing key consumer needs. The company has strong growth ambitions for the coming years that depend on the development of the right data science & analytics insights to drive immediate and long-term value for the organization. Globally, i-Health employs more than 160 people. The i-Health Data Science and Analytics team will initiate, develop and integrate data analytics capabilities to accelerate the development, industrialization and adoption of data analytics within the i-Health organization fuelled by embracing cutting edge analytics technologies and techniques with the ultimate goal to create substantial and additional impact and value to the business. Key areas of accountability/responsibility Ownership of Nielsen Data (NielsenIQ, Homescan and Omnishopper) to provide relevant analysis and Insights to commercial teams Collaborate with commercial teams to work on projects to support market sizing and market trends for i-health business categories Provide competitive intelligence within the industry, ranging from multinational conglomerates to newly-minted start-ups Support to deliver quarterly insights newsletter/dashboard to all i-health stakeholders covering insights across market, competition, and consumers Own and perform Desk research to monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and build knowledge base Collaborate with commercial teams to provide answers and analysis to their business questions and help in decision making Complexity of the job The success of the role is highly dependent on understanding of Nielsen data (usage in the past) and pragmatic- and \'just get it done\' mindset. Analyst should be proactive, highly organized and experienced in working on secondary data sources to deliver high quality insights. Good communication skills and the ability to relate to team members and within the business organization are crucial. The Insights and Analytics Analyst needs to be accepted as a trusted advisor and able to drive change and challenge the stakeholders in the business as well as in the external part of the ecosystem (e.g. suppliers, 3rd party data providers, research institutes etc.). The Insights and Analytics Analyst works in an international context with leaders and executives both within and outside of DSM. Knowledge and educational level University degree in Business/Economics Experience in the consulting space is beneficial Familiarity with Nielsen Data and experience in Market Research Strong Business Acumen, Experience of working on US CPG industry and understanding of US market/databases Excellent stakeholder management skills Excellent Communication (verbal and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly format Required level of experiences 2-5 years of relevant experience. Expertise in Nielsen (NielsenIQ, Homescan and Omnishopper) is mandatory Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging, ambiguous and complex endeavours Proven ability to work directly and communicate effectively with all levels and groups across the organization, explaining technical issues in a complete, accurate, and understandable manner Work with global, diverse and dynamic teams both in person and virtually Competences: Customer centric and \'getting it done\' approach Combines analytical skills, creativity and pragmatism Able to independently engage with stakeholders Effective communicator, is capable of transferring messages in clear stories in formal and informal settings.
