Business Head - Nutrition


Location: Mumbai
Reporting Relationship: Vice President - Marketing (Domestic)
Company Background: A leading organization in the Agrochemical industry
Responsibilities:

Job Purpose The Executive would be accountable to strategic market intelligence, identifying opportunities and formulating plans aligned to the business objectives. He/ She would be responsible for complete strategy implementation and operational management including Profitability and Operational cost improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential voids and opportunities for present range/new introductions
  • New Product Development, in collaboration with Product Development and R&D for developing new products in Nutrition
  • Initiate activities towards building a brand value for the organization and the product line
  • Association with existing B2B Customer as well as developing New Customers
  • Farmer Engagement: Increase activities to demonstrate product effectiveness
  • Prepare Crop Wise Marketing Plan and Crop Solution Offer
  • Region wise demo plans for promotion of the nutrition product
  • Guide and drive key promotional / therapy campaigns to enable achievement of divisional objectives and maintain customer connect for the division to seek increased sales
  • Propose product pipeline to General Managers, Senior Managers, Area Managers for building a future portfolio of the division globally
  • Manage cross function relationships with R&D/ Portfolio Team/ Packaging Team/ Planning & Sourcing Team to get optimal outcomes
  • Provide business cases for new product proposals and ensure viability and success.
  • Developing Region wise communication & identifying influencers to promote companies\xe2\x80\x99 nutrition portfolio

Candidate Profile:

Qualification & Experience
  • Master\'s or Bachelors in Agricultural Science from a reputed institute and desiring to make a career in the Advanced Nutrition field
  • 18+ years of experience in the Agrochemical industry with at least 3+ years of experience in the Nutrition business is a must
  • Proven leader with expertise in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Product Management
  • Experience to establish the business from scratch/ scaling up the small-scale operations would be preferable
