Job Title - React developer Location - Pune,Business Bay Role Description This position is for server side developer in Level One Surveillance domain where you will build applications to satisfy control requirements using latest tools, technologies (Python, Flask, Kubernetes etc) and practices. Level One surveillance is an important functionality for the bank performing detective controls focused on both internal (Traders) and External (Clients) surveillance. This role will be working on a level one control platform which is based on big-data technology and uses micro services to supply various data sets to the UI. This platform has a global development team working from India (Pune), United Kingdom (London) and the US (New York, Cary). In this role the candidate will have the opportunity to work with a truly global and diverse team consisting of developer, project managers, BAs, DevOps, Support team and QA testing team as well as multitude of exciting technologies. Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using common design patterns with a range of design tools & techniques
• Conduct code reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable
• Design & build solutions which are secure & regulatory compliant
• Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team (London, Pune and US) and be accountable for successful delivery of a regulatory critical workstream
• Employ a range of techniques to analyse problems and evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business & strategic criteria
• Identify and resolve barriers to business deliveries implementing solutions which iteratively deliver value

Your skills and experience

• Analytical thinker, intellectually curious to solve problems
• Proactive and self-motivated \xe2\x80\x93 able to take initiative to identify issues and complete tasks
• Confident and strong communicator with ability to communicate issues, present solutions and share knowledge in clear and structured way.
• Good team player with ability to work comfortably with diverse team members in different locations
• Extensive Knowledge of Python
• Experience of building python based RESTful web services
• Experience in cloud architecture and engineering preferable (AWS/GCP)
• Working knowledge of RDBMS e.g. Oracle, SQLServer, PostgreSQL but both would be preferred
• Experience in BI & Analytic Tools will be a plus
• Enable experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions
• Familiar in the use of solution design tools
• Understand key elements of security, risk & control
• Track record in identifying and making improvements to the delivery process
• Working knowledge of big data platforms such as Hadoop
• Experience with development using SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Trunk Based Development (TBD)
