Role Description Function: Finance Reports to: Business Finance Head

  • Partner with Business & Finance head and create monthly & annual operating plans and ensure timely submission of the plans to the central
  • Own and deliver in-depth analysis of the overall financial and operational performance of the business (Financial, Operational, Marketing, Sales, etc.), identify red flags and propose ways to bridge them
  • Ensure analysis findings are action ed upon and continuous feedback is collected and utilized to fine-tune the approach
  • Solve business problems and aid the decision-making process by using predictive modelling on internal and external data
  • Track performance against plan, provide performance insights with detailed recovery actions for gaps
  • Build dashboards/coherent scorecards to drive strategic thinking in the category
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive business and improve processes

Candidate Profile
  • Must have 2 - 6 years of demonstrated experimentation in process oriented and high quality work environments, preferably in a high-growth start-upore-commerce company.
  • Qualification: CA/CWA/MBA finance
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Excellent Excel and SQL knowledge and, ability to navigate large volumes of data. Knowledge of R/Python will be an added advantage.

  • Strong communication, analytical and inter-personal skills.
