About Blackboard Radio (BBR)

Blackboard Radio (BBR) is an award-winning social ed-tech enterprise founded by IIT Delhi alumni and supported by Villgro Innovation Foundation and CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad. At Blackboard Radio (BBR), we are creating an AI-powered spoken English tutor for school students. Our solution allows students to learn to speak English through our unique pedagogy of 'guided practice'. Students get spoken assignments that are evaluated by our teachers. It also features a podcasting platform where students can create podcasts (poems, stories, etc.) and share them with family and friends. The solution is designed for tier-2 India, requires minimal parental supervision, and is extremely affordable.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Help the organization look for colleges and universities where virtual educational workshops can be conducted
2. Connect with the colleges and universities to share our proposal with the point of contact such as principals, professors, event organizers, placement coordinators, etc.
3. Follow up with the colleges and universities over emails and calls to help the organization smoothly conduct virtual workshops in the relevant colleges
4. Work on email writing, calling, follow-ups, proposal writing, market research, virtual event management, etc.

Who can apply:

1. Hands-on experience in organizing and managing college-level workshops & events
2. Undergraduate or fresh graduate students with a high-energy aptitude to work in event planning, workshop organizing, outreach, and business development
