Job Description



Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a BDR to join our India sales team.


Gamma Technologies develops, markets, and sells engineering simulation software called GT-SUITE. With roots in Automotive, nearly all the world's leading automotive manufacturers leverage GT software. Our solutions help automotive companies build more fuel-efficient vehicles that get better gas mileage while reducing emissions without sacrificing vehicle performance. The move from traditional internal combustion engines (ICE) powered by gasoline or diesel fuel to electrified vehicles presents an enormous market opportunity for GT as our software allows Electrical Vehicle manufactures and their suppliers, to design better vehicles with our software. Regulatory agencies globally have mandated that vehicle manufacturers reduce harmful environmental emission output or they will face significant financial penalties and GT helps our clients meet these mandates.


In addition to Automotive, GT serves the Aerospace, HVAC and Marine industries by working with companies.


This position is based in Pune, India and will report directly to the Head of India Operations.


Positions Summary:
The BDR will assist the sales and marketing teams with all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation via social media and marketing efforts, through to ownership and maintenance of existing accounts including renewals.


This position requires an individual with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to grasp technical concepts.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage specific accounts in India, proactively contacting them to identify their needs prior to subscription renewal
  • Generate renewal quotes and ensure that renewals are processed, looking for growth opportunities during interaction with customers
  • Directly contact leads generated through marketing efforts
  • Post updates on social media platforms, and cultivate leads who interact on these platforms
  • Assist with coordination of tradeshow efforts, and attend some shows to engage with leads
  • Assist with outbound sales efforts related to prospecting potential new and existing customers via email, social media, and phone
  • Travel ~20%, mostly within the India



Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing, business, or related field, Minimum GPA of 8 out of 10
  • Curious about technology that helps companies solve complex problems
  • Outgoing personality with a desire to build relationships with customers
  • Acts with a sense of urgency
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and persistent work ethic
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Business-to-Business Sales, preferably selling a complex solution
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM as well as Social Media Platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Desire to grow professionally and take on additional responsibility/roles as it is earned
