Job Description

Identifies new projects, builds client relationships (government, private firms, contractors), researches market trends, creates compelling proposals, and secures contracts to drive revenue growth, blending technical understanding with sales skills to expand the firm's footprint in the civil engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Strategy

: Analyze civil engineering market trends, competitor activities, and identify new opportunities.

Lead Generation

: Proactively find and qualify potential clients through networking, cold calls, and industry events.

Client Relationship Management

: Build strong, lasting connections with clients, understanding their needs to offer tailored consultancy solutions.

Proposal & Presentation

: Develop persuasive proposals, tender responses, and presentations, collaborating with technical teams.

Sales & Negotiation

: Drive revenue, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet sales targets.

Internal Collaboration

: Work with technical staff, marketing, and management to align strategies and deliver services effectively.

Reporting

: Maintain CRM records, track performance, and report on business development activities.
