The role is responsible for driving the Sales & Distribution strategy for the Consumer Business across defined channels and markets. The position involves appointing and managing distributors and field force teams, ensuring effective market penetration through Go-To-Market initiatives, and growing business. The incumbent will play a critical role in enrolling and managing large outlets, ensuring category-level visibility, and implementing the right merchandising practices to strengthen brand presence.

What youll do
Strategic Responsibilities
Appoint Distributors and Field force for Consumer Business.
Complete Sales & Distribution responsibility as per Go-To-Market defined channel and markets
Grow business with the help of distributors and merchandiser/promoters.
Enroll large outlets for business and visit them as per PJP to drive sell out and sell in
Ensure share of shelf is maintained and at category level.
Ensure right merchandising tools are implemented
Monthly market intelligence report on category landscape.
Financial Responsibility
Ensure financial hygiene and financial exposure risk at zero level
Ensure complete supervision on scheme delivery to General Trade customers.
Ensure monthly remittance plan is closed with Distributor for business.
Monthly claim submission on time and cleared
Market expiry and Damage control with the help of RSM

Minimum 8 years of Experience
Prior experience of working for FMCG brand is a must
Strong analytical ability to read and act upon data for decision making.
People management, excellent negotiation skills, good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
