We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B business development, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the food, FMCG, Ingredient or protein industry experience is a must. The ideal candidate should share our vision and values as energetic, creative as well as self-driven with an entrepreneurial mind-set. What will you do Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth within the industry. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to meet revenue and growth targets. Client and Partner Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, suppliers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the industry. Collaborate with existing partners and seek out new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations. Sales Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and closing B2B opportunities. Develop and manage a sales pipeline, forecast sales projections, and meet or exceed sales targets. Negotiation and Contract Management: Utilize exceptional negotiation skills to secure contracts, partnerships, and agreements. Ensure all agreements are favourable and in line with the company\'s goals and standards. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and the competitive landscape in the food sector. Be prepared to present the company\'s offerings with confidence and expertise. What makes you a great match for us Master\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A relevant degree in food science or a related field can be a plus. 3-7 years of relevant experience in business development, with a proven track record in the food industry. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong understanding of B2B business development practices. Knowledge of food industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape. Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset. International sales experience or an export related experience is an add advantage.
