Job Description


Purpose: - The candidate will be responsible for supporting Compliance & CSV business in identified segments. Candidate\xe2\x80\x99s main goal is to assist in successfully addressing sales opportunities and driving growth in accordance with assigned product goals. The Business Development Specialist will execute defined tactical actions to ensure that sales teams have the necessary support on product positioning / differentiation, applications, seminars, trainings and workshops. Furthermore, the BDM will have the responsibility to gather and communicate competitor and market dynamics within the assigned portfolio to the marketing and business unit teams He/She will be expected to work closely with customers, sales team, application team to develop strategies for accelerating growth. Responsibilities

Direct Ownership

  • Assess product positioning w.r.t to competition & target market segments and support the business by executing the product and market strategies to meet AOP & drive growth by generating demand by various marketing initiatives.
  • Candidate will be responsible for supporting manager to design and execute the marketing plan for said portfolio
  • Provides input with regards to segment trends, important projects and key customer development.
  • Monitors competitor activities and proposes tactics/strategies to counteract them.
  • Executes an activity plan highlighting measures to be initiated in the territory/region to grow the business in existing and potential new customers
  • Addresses technical questions in support of sales opportunities.
  • Conducts sales training to improve their awareness of product applications and technologies.
  • Conduct pre-sales technical presentations and other marketing tactics to potential customers addressing product/solution needs to drive product adoption and sales growth
  • Identify opportunities for innovative marketing initiatives, business growth opportunities like digital platforms, enhanced customer engagement, cross divisional synergies within or outside Chromotography/ Lab product portfolio to drive product line growth.
Supports
  • Work closely with marcom team for executing marketing tactical plan
  • Support commercial team for leads/enquiries of respective product lines
  • Work closely with Services & Lab informatics team for ensuring right level of collaboration as per business needs and execution
Education & Experience Levels

Candidate Requirement:
  • 7-9 yrs of business development, account management experience preferably in life science/ Pharma.
  • Experience in Analytical lab/ Pharma regulation and understanding the end-to-end sales, asset life cycle management.
  • Experience in delivering effective technical presentations and training.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, desire to succeed and ability to execute on multiple tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities
  • Willingness to travel to accomplish assigned objectives (40\xe2\x80\x9050% of time estimated in traveling within the assigned territory)

Knowledge Required:
In-depth understanding of Pharma/Biopharma, Academic Research and Healthcare markets in India.

Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, Expert in Microsoft (PowerPoint & Excel), Demonstrated proactive approach working in matrix organization, Strong people influencing skills, Understanding of sales & channel processes, Knowledge of product pricing strategy A person working within Regulated Pharmaceutical environments in the area of Quality & Compliance, IT GxP Compliance, Computer System Validations, Regulatory Audits, Analytical Instrument Qualification. Experience with Lifecycle Management (IQ/OQ, CSV, Change Management, Deviation Management, Incident Management) of \xe2\x80\x9cGxP\xe2\x80\x9d systems used in Quality Control Laboratory.
Regulatory Audit Exposure : USFDA, MHRA, TGA, Health CANADA, ANVISA, WHO

Analysis, Planning, Review and Approving the Stability sample Analysis. Managing Deviations, OOS, Change Controls.
