Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and database management
Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships
Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Plan approaches and pitches.
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs and develop revenue streams.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services and products
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in sales / key account management
Bachelor\'s degree (Essential)
Post Graduate degree in business administration (Desirable)
Fluent in English verbal/written communication
Strong communication and presentation skills
Minimum 2 years experience freight forwarding background in the transport of pharmaceuticals and life sciences.
