The Business Development Manager will serve as a leader in developing and driving growth initiatives for Supply Chain in India. In this role, you will lead a team that will identify, evaluate and negotiate new sales and marketing growth opportunities, as well as investments and partnerships. Across multiple commodities, you will work on businesses including trading, supply chain and primary processing. In partnership with commercial leaders and other partners, you will identify and develop optimal revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies. You will also lead capital projects, develop external partnerships and explore new business models
Key Accountabilities
Manage investments / partnerships projects from ideation to final execution.
Drive business strategy and coordination with regional and global teams on broader strategic initiatives.
Plan and direct resource allocations, organization structures and financial analysis.
Prioritize and track projects across the region.
Cultivate and maintain relationship with external partners.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
In a matrix environment, lead and partner with a broad range of teams (commercial, operations, legal, tax, finance) to deliver impactful growth outcome, taking ownership of progress and results.
