Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for our Business Development Manager. The potential candidate will be responsible for holistically building a new brand by creating effective brand awareness, developing a lucrative product distribution channel, analysing quarterly budgets and suggesting fresh marketing and PR strategies. This role is located in Mumbai. Requirements Conducting research on target markets, sustainable clothing products and brand competitors Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating and implementing business generation activities; developing lucrative sales strategies Creating an effective product distribution channel to meet the monthly sales goal Developing a successful marketing plan based on research, industry trends, and competitor activity, to build brand awareness Strategising and implementing fresh marketing campaigns using tools such as advertising, public relations, social media, and events The candidate must be goal-oriented, along with an analytical mindset and critical thinking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence clients The candidate must be self-motivated and target-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to travel locally and occasionally nationally, as required Qualifications A strong business acumen along with perseverance and persistence The candidate must be proactive Proven experience as a Business Development Professional, preferably in the fashion/clothing industry (minimum 3-4 years) Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics or a related field Strong communication and negotiation skills Must have great presentation skills
