As the Business Development Manager at Spars Electric Company, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base in domestic and international markets. Your primary objective will be to develop and implement effective business strategies that maximize revenue, increase market share, and promote the adoption of our electric vehicles. Responsibilities: Identify and analyze new market opportunities to drive business growth and expansion.
Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and industry developments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure effective product positioning and successful market entry.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners and customers to secure profitable deals and long-term business relationships.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential customers, highlighting the unique value proposition of our electric vehicles.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and formulate strategies accordingly.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to electric vehicles.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and establish Spars Electric Company as a leader in the electric vehicle market.
Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master\'s degree would be a plus.
Proven experience (2+ years) as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge of the electric vehicle market, including industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop effective business strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding business targets.
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and the electric vehicle industry.
