The position holder is expected to drive business growth by generating quality leads from System Installers and resellers of Structured Cabling Industry, expanding growth opportunities through new business & developing long-lasting cordial relationships with all the Channel Partners. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities for the IT Distribution company. This role involves understanding the market, generating leads, nurturing relationships, and closing deals to drive revenue growth and expand the company\'s client base. Channel development and management will be part of the role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Market Research: - Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends. - Analise competitor offerings and market demands to identify opportunities. 2. Lead Generation: - Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, email marketing, networking, and social media. - Qualify leads to ensure they align with the company\'s target audience. 3. Relationship Building: - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners. - Cultivate new relationships with potential clients, focusing on long-term partnerships. 4. Sales Strategy: - Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets. - Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients. 5. Proposal and Contract Negotiation: - Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts. - Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients. 6. Pipeline Management: - Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and provide regular updates to the management team. - Forecast and track sales metrics, including revenue and conversion rates. 7. Team Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients. 8. Reporting: - Provide regular reports on business development activities, outcomes, and challenges to the senior management team. Desired Candidate Profile 1. Knowledge of Networking products like \xe2\x80\x93 LAN Cabling, Switches, Wifi, Firewall is required 2. Understanding of LAN cabling and IT Industry reseller market is desired and will be given preference 3. Preferably from Networking, Data Centre or Structured Cabling Industry 4.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 6. The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team 7. Experience in handling and executing sales targets 8. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Preferably AutoCAD 9. Willingness to travel is a must. 10. - Proven track record in Networking Industry or technology sales. Business development in SI channel is a must.
