Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and penetrate new territories.
Client Acquisition & Management:
Prospect new clients (HODs, Deans, Site Managers), conduct site visits, present product demos, and build strong long-term customer relationships.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage inside/outside sales teams, providing technical and sales strategy guidance.
Pipeline & Order Management:
Generate leads, manage RFQs, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, ensure timely order processing, and handle payment follow-ups.
Market Analysis:
Analyze sales data, monitor market trends, gather feedback on products, and identify opportunities for cross-selling (services, parts).
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, service, and marketing teams for seamless delivery, customer satisfaction, and promotional activities.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven sales experience in heavy equipment, construction, industrial sales, or related fields.
Technical Knowledge:
Complete understanding of cranes, components, services, and industry applications (e.g., hoisting, lifting).
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Tools:
Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems is a plus.
