The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and partnerships. The role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to achieve targets while representing the organization professionally.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospects to understand their business needs.
2. Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely service and communication.
Act as the point of contact for all business-related client queries and concerns.
3. Sales & Revenue Growth
Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective clients.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts in alignment with company policies.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Negotiate deals and close contracts with profitable outcomes.
4. Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
Understand market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and business expansion strategies.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and client insights.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery.
Provide inputs for product development and service improvements.
Participate in promotional events, trade fairs, and networking sessions.

Experience in [industry type - e.g., F&B, Retail, Hospitality, FMCG, etc.] is an added advantage.
Compensation:
As per industry standards (Fixed + Incentives + Performance Bonus)
