Job Description

Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include working with big datasets, analysis of data and present results through suitable dashboarding or reporting tools and mediums to clearly articulate business needs/trends and patterns in the data.
• Work with a customer centric mindset along with solution consultants, regional industry experts and data scientists to solve customer challenges using BY\xe2\x80\x99s AI/ML driven planning solutions
• The team currently comprises of about 12 associates based out of India is part of a larger Presales organization comprising of solution advisors, business consultants and data scientist across the globe
• The incumbent will need to demonstrate leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team

Responsibilities:

• Individuals will work on projects where he/she will be responsible for wrangling of data, validation of data confirming to pre-defined set of rules, analysis of datasets.
• Generate insights from the data provided and identifying gaps
• Ability to propose assumptions and work-around when data integrity is not met, or missing data is observed.
• Identify areas of improvement and scope of automation on routine tasks or activities
• Co-ordinate with various teams within presales and outside such as product development, platform, consulting etc. to come up with innovative solutions
• Individual should be passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 verbal & written.
• Maintain sense of urgency and swiftness with all customer interactions
• Bring a value driven mindset in all tasks
• Document learnings and create knowledge articles for repeated cases
• Help in meeting team level goals and be a team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders with emphasis on follow through and reporting

Desired skills and experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data validation, cleaning, wrangling, transformation, analysis and generating insights using larger dataset
• Proficient in Python - Understands and uses pandas, numpy and other scientific libraries effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to create dashboards using reporting tools like Tableu, Power BI, etc. to present data analysis to end users
• Strong knowledge of any one database (Oracle, Exasol, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in supply chain domain and knowledge of AI/ML concepts will be added advantage
• Experience in working on Azure platform will be added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Has a technology driven mindset - passionate to learn new tools, languages, and frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
