Job Responsibilities: Partner with business groups to solve pricing problems in areas such as elasticity models, price optimization, design of experiments, margin optimization, competitive pricing, markdown management
Work would involve a mix of following (approximate):
20% on Price elasticity / modeling related activities
50% (Ad Hoc business analytics)
30% (Price Tests and Measurement
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in descriptive and predictive analytics work
Should be a strong problem solver with a solid foundation in statistics, specifically around pricing and promotional approaches

Excellent communication and soft skills
Hands on skills to retrieve and analyze data
Should have experience on working in Onsite-offshore model.
Strong business problem solving skills
Should be able to execute data driven analysis to provide answers to adhoc business questions
Possess strong SQL skills so as to write queries to extract data from a Teradata environment.
Proven experience of using large data for providing Analytics solutions.
Possess knowledge of Hypothesis testing and A/B Testing.
Knowledge of Regression Modeling (including Linear and Logistic) and Segmentation (Cluster Analysis).
Should possess above par communication and presentation skills and be able to write insights from analysis findings which in turn can be effectively communicated to the customer
Must have the proven ability of delivering top quality projects/business analysis in high pressure situations on time, every time.
Experience in Retail/ CPG domain and experience with On-line Retailers will be preferred.
Reports/Dashboard creation experience using Tableau is preferred
Should be a quick learner, self motivated, reliable and independent worker.
