1. Deal Screening and Evaluation:
- Actively identify and research early-stage biotech companies across various therapeutic areas and technology platforms
- Analyze market trends and identify white space opportunities within the biotech and lifesciences sector
- Pre-screen incoming deal flow and present high-potential opportunities to the investment team
- Perform comprehensive analysis on various technological and commercial aspects including:
- Prepare due diligence reports and present findings to the investment team
- Collaborate effectively with members of the investment team and other stakeholders
- Contribute to team discussions and provide insights to support investment decision-making processes
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal and external audiences
Expertise:
- Proficiency in MS office tools including Word, Excel and Power point
- In-depth understanding of the basic concepts in pharmacology and the drug development cycle
