Department: - Enterprise Technologies – Finance IT This position is for one of the major program “Finance On the Cloud”. The chosen candidate will be working on Liquidity regulatory reporting process. Finance on the Cloud programme is using the compute power of Cloud technology to redesign our operating model and take a data driven approach to reporting, rather than an output driven approach.
In this role, you will:

• Perform Environment Build – Preparation of environments for release build & test phases, by setting up latest code, data & batch executions to ensure the base environment is ready for release activities.
• Coordinate with Transformation Teams, Various IT PODs, Environment teams & other project teams to get the requirements for environment builds, batch executions & test fixes.
• Provide L3/L2 support for any batch issues faced during Functional testing/User acceptance testing
• Plan & execute performance testing with comprehensive test scenario planning & production like set-up to ensure production SLAs are not impacted.
• Provide environment management support by ensuring environments are tracked against the specific release, support any demise /new environment requests.
• For any new production instances required, plan & execute environment set-up, proving tests, parallel runs & any disaster recovery set-up required.
• Automation of tasks through tools and scripts.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Should have at least 4-6 years of hand-on experience in Environment Support or Test support activities.
• Should be able to develop, retrospect and write SQL/Unix/Linux Scripts Knowledge on Google Cloud technologies is an added advantage.
• Experience in building, executing & supporting batches using any batch execution tools for an IT platform
• Should have understanding of Non-functional controls required in the system & be able to test/prove those during project test phases, IT security reviews & any audits.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact independently with the global and regional Stakeholders from various IT & business teams.

Skill Requirements

• In-depth knowledge on database Oracle/NoSQL/PLSQL, extensive experience on writing efficient SQL Scripts
• Experience on UNIX/Linux/Python, Control M/any other batch scheduling tools
• In-depth knowledge on Linux commands and writing shell scripts.
• Tools – Github, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins
• Experience on DevOps and Agile Methodologies
• Must have good communication skills and problem solving skills, can-do attitude
