Business Analyst + Personal Assistant (to Managing Director)
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders (including the MD) to gather business requirements using interviews, workshops, and surveys.
Translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and functional documents for development and QA teams.
Analyze business processes and workflows ("as-is" vs "to-be") and suggest improvements.
Work closely with UX, architecture, and development to design system components, data models, and user interfaces.
Assess feasibility of proposed solutions (technical, financial, operational).
Build data models, run analyses (Excel, SQL, BI tools like Power BI / Tableau) to identify trends and insights.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
Create financial models (cost-benefit, forecasting) to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in creating and executing test plans: write test cases, conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Provide support to business users during system implementation.
Conduct training sessions and prepare user manuals so that business users can adapt to new processes or systems.
Personal / Executive Assistant Duties
Provide direct assistance to the MD: manage calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and handle logistics.
Act as a gatekeeper: screen calls, emails, and other communications; prioritize and manage accordingly.
Prepare presentations, reports, and decks for the MD.
Assist in preparing correspondence (internal and external), maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Organize and manage administrative tasks (travel bookings, expense reporting, meeting logistics).
Support special projects as assigned by the MD.
Maintain document filing, record-keeping, and administrative systems to ensure smooth operations.

Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to break down business problems, analyze data, and recommend solutions.
Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Effective stakeholder management, facilitation of workshops, and presentation skills.
Technical Proficiency: Comfort with databases and systems; experience with SQL, Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and process modeling.
Documentation Skills: Ability to write BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), functional specs, user stories, process flows, etc.
Project Management: Basic project planning, risk tracking, and following through deliverables.
Change Management: Experience in guiding teams through process or system changes, helping with adoption.
Time Management / Multitasking: Juggling strategic BA tasks and executive support duties requires excellent prioritization.
Confidentiality & Discretion: Safe handling of sensitive information given PA responsibilities.
Organizational Skills: High level of organization, especially for calendar management, administrative tasks, and travel planning.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the business domain (could be IT, operations, finance, etc.) to analyze effectively.

Direct reporting: The role reports directly to the Managing Director (MD).

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: Ideally 2-5 years (or more) working in business analysis or related roles; some experience in administrative or PA roles is a big plus.
Tools: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably SQL and BI tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Other: Experience in Agile / Waterfall methodology, or prior exposure to system implementation projects, is valuable
