Your team The Settlement and Reconciliation team is a dynamic team of Business Analysts and Software Developers spread across development centres in Zurich, Bioggio, Berlin, Madrid, Manila and Pune. We follow an agile process, working closely within but also other related teams and clients to develop new product features and maintain existing ones in live use. The team works with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow. The team is owner of functionality and part of many exciting and challenging projects relating to Securities Settlement & Reconciliation and Custody and Ex-Custody for Banks. You will join a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people who enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for their contribution to the Avaloq ecosystem. Your mission

• Analyzing and following-up customer inquiries about the Settlement and Reconciliation module. Specifying new functionality in collaboration with Software Developers, Partners and Clients.
• Maintenance of existing Settlement and Reconciliation functionality.
• Supporting developers during implementation, including testing.
• Testing and quality assurance for new functionality and system corrections.
• Updating product documentation in collaboration with our Technical Writers.
• Acting as the contact person concerning functional questions.
• Supporting consulting projects and workshops with customers partners.

Qualifications
What you need

• University degree in banking / economics / Finance or equivalent experience
• Profound knowhow of Custody Products, in particular Settlement and Reconciliation
• Experience in Custody Banking Operations is essential
• IT affinity, SQL is a plus.
• Open-minded, team-oriented, and communicative personality
• Being eager to learn and to take on new challenges
• Interest in the banking business
• Professional communication skills in English
• Strong analytical abilities and high-quality awareness
• Structured and autonomous approach to work
• Ability to understand, abstract, and specify banking processes and requirements

• Previous experience within the banking environment
