BUSINESS ANALYST - REPORTING (DGRSE) Performance Excellence drives Customer Operations culture of quality, consistency and continuous development resulting in exceptional performance and a first-class customer experience. Data Quality & Workflow Reporting provides transparency to D&A Customer Operations\' performance focusing on the key data sets that power our measurement of timelines, accuracy and completeness. The team will support our Market Driven Metrics program and delivery of timely operational reporting required to run our core customer workflows. Working within Performance Excellence, a Business Analyst - Reporting (DGRSE) will engage with LSEG internal customers to interpret information from performance management reporting, to define and document the requirements and manage the implementation of the reports to agreed timelines. Such complex reports should be done by collaborating with other team members to deliver the required reports on time and with exceptional quality. The individual will work with Reporting Lead & Senior Business Analyst in the team to automate excel routine work using Excel Macros VBA, Access Database, Oracle SQL, Alteryx workflows and present them in Power BI dashboards as self-serve tools. Role Responsibilities - Provides analysis on large volumes of data to provide useful data and insights for internal and external clients. - Standardises raw data in accordance with defined processes to ensure data quality is delivered - Executes key aspects of the data control framework, ensuring that data quality is achieved - Develops and runs basic to intermediate level queries to pull a wide variety of information from the database for internal or external reports - Works closely with internal teams to ensure reporting and analysis needs are met - Assists with the report/data checks and validation, to ensure highest level of accuracy and helps to identify issues with the data and esclates issues properly - Uses data visualization techniques, such as charts and graphs, to illustrate the results and make them easier to understand - Checks data quality and removes duplications, corrects errors and ensures that any process changes to improve data collection are in place - Develops a broad knowledge of the data methodology and systems Minimum Requirements - This is an individual contributor role - Degree or equivalent with experience in a operations Reporting / Analysis environment. - Previous experience with database use, database platforms and analyzing large datasets - Knowledgeable and experience in building dashboards using BI tools - Knowledgeable and experience in creating visualization using Power BI. - Strong background in statistics, differential equations and/or numerical methods - Strong communication skills - verbal, written and presentation - Ability to work under pressure and to exacting time scales on occasion - Self-motivated, dynamic (able to respond to changing priorities) and able to work with minimal supervision (commitment to deliver to agreed timescales).
