Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions (SMR) is a leading supplier in equipment and tools, services and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Our application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, tunneling, quarrying and breaking and demolition. To our Rock Tools division and the Production Unit in Pune, we are now looking for a Business Analyst to join us.

Your scope:

Part of business controlling team. Role is to analyze and consolidate the financial key figures of Production Units (Pune and Patancheru), support various business stake holders and prepare different MIS reports.

To be more specific, your main responsibilities to handle in this position are:

• Ensuring to maintain the global level of safety requirements. Ensuring the process and equipment\'s meets the safety standards. 100% compliance for EHS standards.
• Responsible in preparing quality & timely MIS reports in support to Budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial closing and key figures reporting.
• Meeting deadlines in BPC reporting of key figures.
• Co-ordinating with financial accounting management and organization for ensuring compliance to Sandvik and Rock Tools guidelines as well as to external regulations.
• Support in internal, statutory and cost audits.
• Active and integral participation in operative management functions within supply chain (Production, Distribution, Sourcing, Purchasing, IT etc.)
• Close cooperation with central finance and other stakeholders within Rock Tools India.
• Working on capturing investment cashflow, capitalization of assets, calculating and monitoring ROI.
• Execute routine data health checks and maintain data accuracy.
• Monitor material life cycle management, Account payables, Receivables, Open PO\xe2\x80\x99s, GL reconciliations etc.,
• Performs material substitution forecasting support and PPV analysis support.
• Provides appropriate business support, including, but not limited to, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and improving reporting.
• Candidate should have hands on experience in SAP.
• Candidate may require travelling to Patancheru plant once in a month.

Your profile:

Our candidate should have hands on experience on financial budgeting, fore casting, month closings, MIS analysis & reporting with at least 3 years relevant experience from a manufacturing engineering organization. User experience on Power BI is an added advantage.

A CA or ICWA (1st or 2nd attempt only) candidate is required. You have previously worked with strong EHS cultured organizations, and you understand the importance of a diverse workforce and collaborative settings.

Other required competencies that we find necessary are:

• Excellent planning, conceptual & analytical skills required.
• Must be able to read & interpret reports.
• Must be able to work with all levels of management
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good skill in MS office Tools & SAP.
• Knowledge on Indian tax laws and various compliances.
