BUK & BX - All locations We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. Introduction: The main job function is to work within the Central Functions: ServCo Technology department as a senior Business Analyst for the delivery of key projects. This will involve working closely with the business stakeholders, BA/Development teams and third party vendors. The role will be based in Pune and reporting to HOF Technology Lead. . To maintain an in-depth, end-to-end technical understanding of applications / products, being recognised as the \'go to\' contact for technical queries, live incidents and problems. . To ensure that the technical integrity and quality of the applications / products is maintained across their lifetime, reviewing and approving any technical changes being proposed. . To use system-specific knowledge and technical expertise to define technical strategies that provides business solutions. . To be responsible for all changes to the application /system throughout the whole product life cycle including run and retirement of systems What we\'re looking for: . Lead or aid in the production of Technical Feasibility Studies (TFS) with the Solutioning and Architecture team for major projects, identifying and engaging all technical component teams that need to contribute. . Assist in the production of Advice and Guidance (A&G) documents and project Plan and Estimates (P&Es), supplying / reviewing estimates for engineering work against overall schedule. . Solve unique and complex technical problems with broad impact on the business unit as a whole, and potentially on other business areas. . Understand the various phases of the software development lifecycle. . Review any impact assessments of change requests against applications / products within domain. Challenge back on any time / cost / quality issues perceived. . Review component designs to ensure compatibility with the end-to-end system design. . Review test strategies to guarantee the quality of the delivered system assist in the diagnosis of system problems encountered during testing. . Drive collaboration across the component design and build teams, ensuring that they understand and follow the system design, resolving any technical issues that arise. Skills that will help you in the role : . Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent . Experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in Investment Banking . Proficient in SQL, Any of UX tool (Axure RP, Balsamiq, InVision) and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Visio and Excel, Word . Excellent oral & written communication skills . Business Analysis Accreditation(s) . Experience in Software Development with Jira, Agile SDLC methodology. . Aware of test automation technologies What will you be doing .
