Key Responsibilities Delivery: Develop Mapping Documents and Functional Specifications Gather the business requirements from customers and interpret those to functional document and detailed business rules document Work in a structured and logical way with a high degree of accuracy Provide inputs to Test Strategy documents Follow-up acceptance testing in liaison with business users Create and review specifications and test documentation Liaise and Clarify doubts with Clients as well as internal development, business and systems support teams Participate in Effort Estimation, Work scheduling process with Leads/Managers Maintain up-to-date knowledge of domain Participate with Leads best practices, systems, and methodology Responsibility & Accountability Meeting with various external and internal stakeholders to understand the scope of projects Working closely with Clients, development and project support teams Identifying, understanding, verifying and confirming business requirements Help in Work Planning and Test strategy based on project requirements Working on multiple projects at one time Ensure Cross Functional Coordination, effective utilization of resources, proactive visualization and management of risks and issues Ensure traceability between requirements, functional specifications Clarify doubts from Dev and Tech team on functionality and documentation Provide Daily / Weekly update reports on progress of work Maintain a accurate project plan and current status in centralised project administration tools Inter Personal Skills Is a good listener and can work well with people from different countries and/or cultures Shows respect for people and their perceived need and wants. Good negotiation skills and conflict handling skills. Demonstrates and requires integrity and \'fair play\' in every aspect of the job. Builds and develops co-operative and mutually beneficial internal relationships across level, geography and business line for the benefit of the global business. Works with others to be an effective team Good communication skills, orally and written. Documentation produced is of good quality clear and concise. Problem Solving and Decision Making Analytical, without \'paralysis through analysis\'. Able to take initiative within remit of the project to guide and suggest where insufficient information may be available or significant ambiguity exists. Investigates, evaluates and integrates information to develop solutions. Uses his/her knowledge and experience to anticipate and evaluate problems and potential obstacles. Makes timely and sound decisions based on a broad view of the information available, the internal/external situation and a considered analysis of the balance of risk and reward. Key Requirements At least 4+ years related work experience in working on multiple projects as a BA or similar role Domain experience in Payroll / HR / Accounting / Finance is a must Must have done File / Field level mapping of data input and output Should know all common business scenarios around interfacing Payroll data Intermediate level understanding of ERP HR systems like SAP HCM, Workday etc. Experience on working with HCM Systems like Workday will be an added advantage Basic SQL or Database related knowledge Must have experience in defining Test Scenarios Good to have working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server Self-starter, able to work with little supervision Able to focus on the big picture and on details Ability to take initiative and follow through- with passion for high quality work, drive to get things done etc. Qualifications / Experience: Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent English written, verbal communication skills. Excellent Presentation and articulation skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Disciplined work approach - keen attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Comfortable working in an environment with significant change and ambiguity.
