Hybrid Working We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date. Introduction: This role will be responsible for designing and delivering systemic solutions to the accounting specialism of Hedge Accounting, expanding the existing product offering under IAS39, considering accounting legislation in different jurisdictions whilst also considering the longer term adoption of IFRS9 and Dynamic Risk Management. This will be executed through a hybrid of delivering extensions to the existing platform whilst ensuring the required transformation outcomes align with finance architecture strategy, drive standardisation, efficiency of operation and future state design principles and business requirements. What will you be doing The Finance Business Architecture Analyst is accountable for developing and implementing specific initiatives as part of the overall finance architecture strategy, focusing on the Hedge Accounting finance transaction cycle. This includes elements contributing to the design of the future state, aligning internal stakeholders, using deep data analysis supporting design, interlocking specifics of the design to the overall end to end process. The candidate will use their industry knowledge, as well as collaborating with the wider Transformation team, to recommend best practice to enable data processes and data handling design solutions, preparing topics for review at the Design Authority working groups, then to work with the project management team to develop commercial milestones contributing to the development of effective plans. Initial focus will be on establishing the scope, vision and execution strategy for the overall strategy. Focus will then shift to driving design vision, ensuring Tech business analysts execute the delivery, resolving design issues, and managing execution risk. . Hold accountability for individual project management deliverables forming part of a broader program of work. . Be responsible for specific design processes for the program, for which they will facilitate design workshops and prepare topics for the programme wide design authority . Perform detailed process base-lining exercises, covering process design, performance, review of documentation . Perform detailed analysis of different types of data sources to support the creation of design proposals to drive transformation within the business . Potentially prototype such ideas using tools such as Alteryx or other data management techniques . Create communication materials for multiple levels of stakeholders . Work with the business analysts and business process owners to review and agree specifications and user stories . Agree the UAT and testing strategy including identification of use cases and examples . Test and feedback issues with the Technology teams . Enable the process transformation and people transformation into the required centres of excellence . Optimise the process from end to end together with the Business management teams What we\'re looking for: . Excellent Power-point skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce best in class presentations . Strong data manipulation skills including Excel. . Broad financial services experience with knowledge of Finance process, system and technologies . Demonstrate a range of styles and techniques in leadership and communications, including influencing and negotiating with a broad set of stakeholders . The successful candidate will possess a demonstrable track record, working on a variety of relevant projects, preferably with successful delivery Skills that will help you in the role: . The ideal candidate will have experience of finance transformation programs and strong command of project management techniques and principles, and process management skills and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma) . Professional Accounting qualification preferred . Degree level education and an excellent general academic track record .
