We are looking to add a talented and self-motivated Business Analyst / Product Owner who has operated within a cross-functional product development environment to our eCommerce, Order to Cash Engineering Team in Product and Technology organisation. You will be joining an agile team and report to the Delivery Lead. You will help to innovate, improve and deliver all aspects of content delivery channels and enhance with new ideas how a digital platform can enable new business models for the Taylor And Francis digital portfolio. What you’ll be doing:

• Understanding technology solutions connecting business, technology, user and customer requirements, collaborate with the Architecture and Solution Team.
• Converting requirements into user stories and tasks along with acceptance criteria, wireframe and additional support documents.
• Managing the backlog of user stories with very clear and unambiguous documentation
• Helping project sponsors and Product Managers to prioritise the user stories.
• Working closely with the business and Product Managers to ensure requirements are challenged, validated and add business value and fit with competing business demands and priorities.
• Anticipating, identifying and managing risks & issues in accordance with programme policies, practices and statements, escalating risks & issues to the appropriate management level or committee as necessary.
• Collaborating with team members to create detailed functional and/or technical specifications.
• Identifying potential opportunities to transform business processes, so they achieve business strategy goals, using appropriate new and innovative approaches.
• Evolving the details of the user stories through conversations with the development team.
• Working closely with the Scrum Master, Delivery Lead and Development team to maintain a consistent, transparent and valuable contribution of work effort.
• Contribute to managing a clear and healthy Product Backlog for the Development Team.
• Collaborate with other Business Analysts/Product Owners to encourage a common understanding and foundation of knowledge and practice.
• Support a standard and consistent approach to change, ensuring change is regular, valuable, well communicated and documented.

• Relevant years’ experience in Information Technology
• Demonstrable experience of working in Digital Transformation projects.
• Demonstrable experience working with process redesign methods and organisational change management.
• Excellent written communication, being able to articulate effective Feature, Epic and Story descriptions, Definition of Done and acceptance criteria across technical and non-technical requirements
• Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing technology and then use this technical knowledge to apply to business needs.
• Excellent soft skills. Need to be able to demonstrate a strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders quickly.
• Work with global business stakeholders to understand the commercial goals and drivers
• Experience within Software Development Life-cycle Methodology
• Out of the box thinker
• Experience working as part of an Agile Team, with use of applications such as Jira, Confluence, Slack.
• Experience or knowledge of Salesforce and its capability
• Possess a strong belief in agile and lean thinking
• Ability to connect business, technology and user requirements to create technology solutions
• Ability to communicate, influence and persuade — both business and IT leaders as well as peers; establishing and maintaining a high level of customer trust and confidence
• Strong organisational skills, autonomous, self-motivated, curious and open-minded
• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and corresponding concepts related to user stories, acceptance criteria
• Technical, analytical, and development skills including the ability to provide solutions to a variety of business problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Ability to translate business requirements to functional specifications
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience of Change Management, and in both Waterfall & Agile environments.

• Some exposure to the publishing domain and e-commerce.
• Some exposure on working with Microservices and API Kits.
• Experience of Order to Cash systems, PCI DSS, payments, card processing, order management
• Experience in Wireframing to support user stories.
