Position Purpose

Business Analyst - Commodities Finance / Trade Finance

Responsibilities

-Would be responsible to interact with the business users directly to understand the functional business requirements.

- Would be responsible to study the business requirement and analyze how the requirement can be incorporated in the application.

- Would be responsible to document the functional requirements and prepare the functional specifications.

- Would be responsible for effective effort estimation and planning.

- Would be responsible for participation in end to end functional analysis.

- Would be responsible to conduct walkthroughs with Business, development, testing and other stakeholders and get signoffs on the functional specifications.

- Would be responsible to closely work with Development and Testing teams to resolve their queries.

- Would be responsible to create high level test scenarios and monitor test cases / test results of the testing team.

- Would be responsible for conducting Application Demos to business users.

- Would act as L3 support for production issues / queries as required.

- Should be comfortable and open to work with Onsite stakeholders.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Essential Technical Knowledge / Skills:

• Good communication and capacity to work with different teams (Ops, end users and IT dev teams)
• Good knowledge of the Trade Finance products [Letter of credit , Guarantees etc] and process & supply chain if possible.
• The BA must be able to understand a functional requirement and specify a mapping (table, data)
• Worked on Agile / Scrum frame work
• Ability to develop Query/ SQL scripts to analyze data
• Worked on applications catering Trade finance products [LC\xe2\x80\x99s , Guarantees] , and the data models. Ability to document Data dictionaries.

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• At least 3-7 years of working experience
• Experience in banking industry is a plus
