Job Title:Business Analyst, Marketing Procurement Department:Procurement Profession (Marketing, Finance, etc.): Supply Chain Location (City, Country):Mumbai / Bangalore, India Main Job Purpose: ABOUT PROCUREMENT Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers, over half of them in MBS. Getting the right services and materials, sustainably sourced and ensuring responsible procurement is critical to ensuring our brands with purpose grow. Our teams work closely with the business to understand stakeholders needs, bring innovation to meet changing consumer, employees and customers needs, and drive financial value for Unilever through competitive buying. ABOUT MBS MBS, Unilever\'s Marketing and Business Services Procurement team, is responsible for Unilever\'s sourcing and supplier strategy and execution for all third party spend across Marketing, Business Services, and IT, supporting the business requirements of Brands, Business Groups, Markets, and functions to drive 4G growth through strategic supplier management, cost and value management, sustainability and innovation, aligned with Unilever\'s Compass. The team manages an annual spend of 9B Euro with a supplier base of about 40,000. The Business Analyst will support the Marketing Procurement Business Group Leads who partner and work with our Global Brand teams to increase effectiveness of our marketing procurement by streamlining accountabilities, building capabilities, and leveraging knowledge, relationships, and business strategies across markets. The Business Analyst will support the Marketing Procurement BG leaders by providing the data insights to increase efficiency of our marketing procurement by driving scale where it makes sense, decreasing fragmentation, prioritizing higher impact areas, leveraging technology and data, and drive performance that unlocks 4G growth for Unilever. Key Accountabilities: . Collaborate with Marketing Procurement Business Group leads to drive data-led interventions . Be familiar and has the ability to obtain different data from tools, platforms and internal sources . Data analysis and data visualization with transitioning result from Excel to Python & PowerBI . Utilize advanced Excel/SQL skills to analyse and interpret data effectively . Reporting, analysis, and insights: Support and manage data requests from stakeholders, build/maintain reports, dashboards and metrics to track performance, derive insights, identify long-term trends, and communicate recommendations via presentations to stakeholders . Assist with the creation of reports for 5 BGs: Beauty & Wellbeing, Personal Care, Home Care, Nutrition and Ice-cream . Understand the business needs related to marketing spend portfolios, across the value chain and supply base and future-fit procurement strategies . Understand the strategy & execution aligned to Unilever Compass, Global Business Group, Function & Markets goals and priorities, aligned with Procurement with Purpose and MBS strategies and principles Experience Required: Qualification/experience . 5+ years of data analytics experience, . Understanding of marketing value chain, marketing trends and ideally FMCG knowledge preferable. General Skills . Extensive experience in Data Analytics or Information Management . Advanced Excel skills to interpret data effectively. . Advanced transitioning data skills from Excel to Python & PowerBI . Strong SQL and data manipulation skills . Experience of data warehouse and reporting/dashboard development. . Ability to understand and formulate insights to tell compelling, data stories or insights based on large, complex data sets,for the delivery of opportunities . Comfort with visualizing data in a range of output formats (e.g. decks) or tools (e.g. BI tools such as Tableau, etc.) with clear attention to detail . Ability to create polished data oriented presentations for executive and board-level consumption . Strong interpersonal, team building, written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team player in across-cultural and cross-functional environments. . Detail oriented and analytical mind with problem solving capabilities. . Ability to work under pressure and in a complex global environment balancing a broad spectrum of stakeholder requirements . Comfortable working in conditions of ambiguity and guiding through change . Able to partake and drive adoption and execution of a shared vision and strategy for change. . Delivers change whilst managing the interface between \'day to day\' and improvement projects. . Passion for continuous improvement . Strong verbal and written communication & selling skills, including creation and delivery of effective presentations . High financial and business acumen, and ability to interpret data to generate data-led insights . Strong in project and time management for complex global projects . Tenacious and resilient in the pursuit of testing goals Travel: Limited international travel required. Not projected to require more than 20% on average (may vary based on location) Procurement: .
