Summary: The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making processes, generating insights for Field Reporting. This position requires expertise in decision support, statistical analysis, real-world data analysis, digital analytics, and measurement. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize advanced analytical techniques to enhance business performance and drive growth.

Roles & Responsibilities-

• Conduct analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations\xe2\x80\x8b
• Drive value for clients by synthesizing data at regular intervals, maintaining high quality standards, applying automation using cutting edge technology, performing analyses, updating business rules, presenting results answering queries on deliverables and generating focused insights. \xe2\x80\x8b
• Collaborate to identify business problems, goals and KPIs to develop analytical frameworks\xe2\x80\x8b
• Conduct research and collect real-world data from multiple sources to support business strategies and decision-making.\xe2\x80\x8b
• Perform statistical analyses, data mining and predictive modelling to uncover trends and correlations\xe2\x80\x8b
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to your team members\xe2\x80\x8b
• Design interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.\xe2\x80\x8b
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop & enhance data, data pipelines & analytical tools for efficient data collection, processing and analysis\xe2\x80\x8b
• Data investigations to provide clear and concise issue resolutions\xe2\x80\x8b
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies

Skills & Competencies-

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions\xe2\x80\x8b
• Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques\xe2\x80\x8b
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team\xe2\x80\x8b
• Solid understanding of digital analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire) \xe2\x80\x8b
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner\xe2\x80\x8b
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights and recommendations

Experience-

• We welcome candidates with a wide range of degrees & background, though sustained success with a significant volume of analytic & quantitative coursework is required. Successful applicants have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or similar.\xe2\x80\x8b
• Proven experience (typically 1-3 years) in a similar business analyst role, preferably within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry.\xe2\x80\x8b
• Experience in working with real-world data (including clinical and healthcare), large datasets, data visualization tools, (e.g., SQL, Microstrategy, Spotfire, etc..).\xe2\x80\x8b
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the biopharma industry.\xe2\x80\x8b
• Experience with real-world data analysis, digital analytics, and market research methodologies.\xe2\x80\x8b
• Certification or training in relevant analytics or business intelligence tools is a plus
