Department overview: Markit Counterparty Manager (MCPM) is an online platform for institutional investors and other financial institutions to exchange documentation and regulatory data efficiently in a secure environment. Through this platform the users are able to: Electronically manage trading accounts on ISDA, FX and MSFTA master agreements Classify trading entities to amend and share ISDA master agreements Simplify FATCA compliance Streamline AUM / NAV distribution Centralize KYC and client on boarding process Streamline Onboarding & Client Life Cycle Management The MCPM team is split over 3 locations, London, New York and Delhi and covers Product Management, Development, Sales, Account Management and Operations. Position summary The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in business analysis, process modelling, workflow development and communication. The candidate should also possess strong analytical skills to help the team clearly understand the product requirements and deliver thoughtful, timely solutions. Duties & accountabilities Work with internal and client stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop strong solutions in a commercial platform. Author detailed functional specification documents, working very closely UI/UX design team and commercial / broader product team to accomplish strong partnerships with Development and QA teams to deliver requirements, clarify questions, and prioritize any issues. Analyze data, elicit Functional/Nonfunctional and API requirements, identify solutions & deliver well defined functional specification documents. Participate in product acceptance testing Support post release queries from operations & support teams Delivery focused with good time management and personal organizational skills. Good client facing skills and the ability to work/communicate with clients to develop and interpret business and technical requirements is essential Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team. Identify options for potential solutions, including assessment of technical and business suitability Utilise analytical tools to develop workflow, cross functional and process flow diagrams Technical competency to troubleshoot and understand common problems and communicate to team Able to produce structured design documents Able to work with QA and Development Team to ensure implementation meets design and requirements Represent customers by understanding their needs and product requirements Work with the development team to ensure that product requirements are understood and built accordingly Translate product\'s strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development Outline the product vision, product strategy, and product roadmap Support engineering team to ensure goals are met Ensure that user story content and prioritization is aligned to the larger strategic objective Recommend the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and appraising adjustment Education and experience Bachelor\'s degree required, advanced degree in Business or Technology preferred Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle Prior working experience on PEGA or Fenergo tools would be a strong plus Knowledge about low code no code technologies would be a strong plus Analytical and well organized Proven ability to work independently.
