Job Description



Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
Expertise/Strategic Planning and Decision Making
Individual contributor role in the iSuite BA team within the FIFX Pricing group. Provides understanding of Fixed Income and FX content, possesses subject matter expertise for the area in which they are assigned. Expertise lends itself to building and maintaining current databases, testing of future databases and data enhancements, and ensuring new strategies keep LSEG as an industry frontrunner. Advises senior internal and external stakeholders.

Relationship/Stakeholder Management
Maintains strong working relationships with customers, sales, data contributors (internal/external), various internal groups from Development to Rights - - Management to Content Management/the business, and with production/operational teams.
Establishes close working relationships with multiple client/contributors and leverages contacts & network to harness new content/address issues affecting clients. The same applies with regards to interactions with internal groups such as development/technology.
Partners with Collections, Development and Content Managers to drive knowledge sharing sessions on important content sets; collaborate across these groups to ensure FIFX content capability/solution is set up and maintained in a manner that delights our customers


Program/Project Lead/Point of Escalation for Production Issues
Leads and drives key FIFX programs from a capability Content perspective using his/her range of talents in understanding operations, markets and systems knowledge, client and content management engagement. Drives efficiencies through leadership and thought solutions.
Expertise/Strategic Planning and Decision Making

  • Provides expertise & creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost-effectiveness & resource efficiency
  • Drives automations, simplifications within Operations and challenges the status quo
  • Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues
  • Applies a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions; anticipates customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies/drives new solutions
  • Solves complex problems which may be multidisciplinary or require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Works with manager to contribute to training/coaching aimed at building, maintaining and enhancing thought solution skills
  • Gives technical presentations on area of expertise
  • Makes decisions in non-routine situations applying considerable analytical thinking
  • Maintains up-to-date data set expertise & works to develop content & technical knowledge


Increasing Efficiencies
  • Designs framework and process with respect to new content or infrastructure onboarded through the Business roadmap.
  • Translates external market policies, rules and events into internal LSEG technical and operational requirements, maintaining a current awareness of the marketplace
  • Ensures effective communication of information relevant to own area of responsibility re: changes, developments, news, etc.


Qualification/skills requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Moderate experience in Languages and/ or Financial Markets or industry expertise.
