Domain: Regulatory and Finance Reporting technology team partners with the Finance and Business Management functions within WM supporting all their technology and regulatory needs across all jurisdictions. While the technology team has a global footprint, the Bengaluru team plays a critical role in owning many jurisdictions that are supported in this space. To achieve this goal, Regulatory and Finance Reporting technology team is building strategic platform. We are looking for seasoned data analyst with a strong passion for technology, insight, and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize Big Data solution. This individual contributor role provides the opportunity to learn constantly and contribute to the Local Regulatory Reporting Roadmap planning and delivery. Job responsibilities Gather the requirements from the Product Owner , Operational Project teams and stakeholders Write user stories and confirm the understanding with the developers. Write function specifications and ensure proper documentation of requirements, process mapping and workflow diagramming. Perform system analysis with the BA of other applications squads when involved in multi-systems features and interfaces. Coordinate with multiple Technical teams, Operational and testing teams to deliver projects Work with the testing team to conduct system integration testing to ensure quality of delivery. Mentoring/coaching Senior staff engineers and other Engineers Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Having proficiency in Big Data framework hive, Spark. Thorough understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and Development methodologies including Agile. 10+ years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable distributed applications and platforms - particularly for multi tenant, SaaS products. Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns. Own Tech Debt/Tech Modernization - Ability to balance the long-term \'big picture\' and short-term implications of design decisions. Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for development and design of least one Big Data project. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills ability to influence and persuade, without direct control. Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Finance Proficiency in Big Data and Spark Finance, Risk and Liquidity experience are a plus Having knowledge of core banking trading products.
