About the Department

Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Head Quarters at Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. Commercial Analytics is part of Finance GBS and was founded in June 2013 with the idea of establishing a team consisting of dedicated analytics professionals to provide the best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

The Position

As an Associate Business Analyst -Market Access, you are expected to provide analytical and consulting services in designing, delivering and executing projects related to market access, understand the business question, design the appropriate approach and/or methodology to answer the business question, analyse the available information, provide insights and recommendations. Analyse the HTA assessments from key payers, understand their recommendations and reasons for approval or rejection and capture relevant insights.

Secondary research on respective therapy area to understand the disease landscape, understand the healthcare environment across different geographies, prepare the target product profiles for Novo Nordisk products and compare the same with competition. Liaise with market access stakeholders, clinical/medical, regulatory, and other cross functional teams to get project related relevant information. Assist in development and maintenance of guidance and training material.

  • Monitor public information (published literature and payer information) for HTA assessments, pricing and market access challenges and trends for Novo Nordisk and competitor products.
  • Assist in development of relevant documents to support payer discussions / negotiations. Develop and maintain long term professional relationship with key internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with the Stakeholders to look at feedback, development opportunities. Train, mentor and develop new joiners or junior colleagues within Market access team.
  • Complete ownership of the deliverables from end-to-end with a mind-set of 'continuous improvement' and share recommendations with the manager.
  • Transform business requirements into Project requirements and timely closure of deliverables
Qualifications

We are expecting you to hold the below skills and knowledge
  • Bachelor/Master's/Degree in pharmaceutical or public health from a well-recognized institute.
  • Good academic track records and grades.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Market access and pricing.
  • Ability to translate business problems into most efficient and effective analysis plan; execute the analysis including data pull, data preparation.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders, primarily with customers, vendors, consultants and project teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex situations, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Ability to customize solution on stakeholder requests.
  • Pharma knowledge, HTA knowledge, market access, project support and management, stakeholder management, vendor management.
