Opportunity This position shall be responsible for Bulk Cargo Operations, Cost Control and Customer Yield Management. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (IPE Factors: Impact & Innovation) Safety Perceive, Plan and implement cost control measures to ensure cost effective operations Planning and Control related to Bulk consumables to ensure cost effective utilisation. Preparation, Inputs and feedbacks related to vendor agreements for Bulk under Management guidelines Inputs to management with regard to vendor rates and possible cost reductions Preparation and participation in tender businesses for bulk operations under management guidelines Inputs and feedback to management for customer agreements, rates and related clauses Verification and co-ordination for Reports related to cargo deliveries / balances / stock certificates and Invoicing related to Bulk Clients. Follow-up and pursuance of outstanding with Bulk clients Close co-ordination with finance and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payment realisation thereof and error free accounting. Preparation and Inputs related to Rolling Quarterly Forecasts (RQF) Budgets for Bulk operations Inputs, Calculations related to TCO (Take Cost Out) Analysis of variance with respect to Budgeted and Actual costs and volumes. Calculation, Confirmation and Invoicing for Despatch Incentives on Bulk Vessels (Lay time) Preparation and control of cargo Delivery orders for Bulk Cargo, in accordance with cargo balances and outstanding of the concerned client. Super user of TOS (Bulk Cargo Management Software) for inputs related to cargo arrivals, despatches and balances. Responsible for reconciliation, control, and implementation of Billing Module in TOS. Spearheading Documentation related to vendor billing, Customer invoicing, Cargo reconciliations, and all other matter related to Bulk Business Preparation and calculation related to Accounts Reconciliations with Bulk Clients to ensure correct accounting of all items. Preparation and Control of Bulk Payable Provisions Inputs and Feedback related to Bulk Costs and respective EBITDA margins. Co-ordination, Compilation and analysis of all departmental reports and surveyor reports to provide required feedback to Management for decision making. MIS and other reports daily, monthly, annual or as required - related to Bulk Business. Inputs and feedback related to all legal matters pertaining to Bulk Operations. Liasoning with relevant authorities and customers to ensure smooth functioning. CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE (IPE Factor: Knowledge) Requires Graduate and 10+ year of experience in handling all types of bulk cargo operations . Good computer literacy on MS Office, Excel and TOS Software. Put emphasis on quality and process improvement. Effective communication skills Good hand on general Accounting Requires good analytical and interpersonal skills Anticipates problems, recognizes the key issues in problems and creates contingency plans and alternative solutions. Exhibits sound judgement. Knowledge of Customs Regulations Innovative inputs for operational safety Knowledge of all custom related documentation.
