Dear Candidates, Urgent job requirement for Road & Highway Engineer (Budgeting & Planning Engineer). Please find the job details below: - Experience: 5-10 Years Location: Mumbai Experience in: Civil & Road/Highway/Railway Should be open for Travel on PAN India Basis. Should have prior experience in team handling also. Job Responsibilities/Key Responsibility Areas: Technical Audit of the Highway & Road Projects.
Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
Understanding all contract requirements.
Preparing estimates and budgets.
Experience with 3D modeling software.
Planning and project management skills.
Understanding the BOT (Build Operate Transfer) & BOQ (Bill of Quantity) of the project and recommending the cost savings for the project
Understanding the Design & Drawings of the project and recommending the cost savings for the project
Checking of the Client RA Bills w.r.t. Work done and billed and to find out the unbilled amount (also as per the physical execution)
Checking of the Sub-contractor RA Bill w.r.t. work done and paid and finding out the excess quantity paid if any. (also as per the physical execution)
Checking the RA Bills with Drawings, BBS, etc
Preparation of Extra Claim (i.e. work done but not claimed)
Material consumption and reconciliation for all materials Steel, Concrete, Cement, Sand, Shuttering, AAC Blocks, Bricks, aggregate, etc, w.r.t purchased quantity, theoretical quantity, actually consumed quantity, billed to client quantity, paid to sub-contractor quantity, work in progress, wastage, unbilled, unaccounted, etc.
