Department Description: This role involves working in hardware verification environment with emphasis on system-level testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, writing, debugging and optimizing functional tests for Oracle's Session Border Controller (SBC) hardware used in engineering, manufacturing and field support environments. Must be able to work effectively with hardware architects, logic designers and manufacturing test engineers to solve functional issues and to work with customer support engineers to improve test coverage and fault isolation. Position overview: Our organization is looking for highly motivated, dedicated team members to design, development and test these products. Engineers will utilize a broad skillset to implement designs and participate in all phases of product development. Must-Have Requirements:

• 6+ years of BSP experience and preferably experienced in "platform software aspects" including Linux kernel/driver work
• Experience with devices such as Network/Security Processors, Switches, NICs, GPUs, etc.
• Experienced with low-level Linux kernel driver (user and kernel space) experience, including network drivers
• Linux kernel understanding, including thread and IRQ scheduling for multi-core platforms
• SNMP experience
• Solid C and C++ skills with sound understanding of multi-threading best-practices

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Low-level Linux TCP/IP stack understanding
• Experience in a networking environment with familiarity with higher level Internet protocols specifically TCP/IP & SNMP

Nice-To-Have Skills/Experience:

• I2C & SMB
• PCI
• Temperature sensors
• fan controllers
• voltage sensors
• Ethernet (copper and fiber) link management
• SDK integration
• Python usage
• Any DPDK experience, including DPDK drivers and DPDK framework
